Hardip Pabla founded Perfect Lovely Cakes in 2015, after a career in the IT industry selling and travelling which meant she knew very few people locally when she started out. She now runs a successful celebration cake business.
Hardip believes that each order is all about the experience, cakes that mean something, look amazing and taste fabulous will always leave a lasting memory.
She enjoys making detailed cakes, each with a story or a meaning to the client.
Having completed the PME Diploma she joined the PBSS school (now CakeFlix) as a Pro member, and last year graduate our 2017 Train the Trainer course. She looks forward to sharing cake skills and her learning experiences on how to run a small business without major expense!
Pauline Curtis, who trades as Mary Rumley, has become recognised as an inspirational cake maker with creative designs to suit every occasion such as Weddings, Anniversaries and Birthdays. She now shares her skills and experience by teaching her craft through a number of Sugar Craft courses.
Pauline’s previous successful career has been in the financial world but for very many years her true passion has always been making bespoke cakes for family and friends.
Pauline holds Masterclasses throughout the Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire areas. Such is her talent, students travel from many parts of the U.K. to attend her classes, to learn the exacting art of creating perfect Sugar Craft whether it be flowers, figures or specific designs. She is a Member of the British Sugar Craft Guild and is City & Guilds qualified.
She states that whenever she is asked to create a cake, she is passionate to know as much as possible about the person receiving the cake, in order that the end result identifies completely with the recipient’s character as well as their wishes. This additional desire for perfection and attention to detail ensures Pauline’s continued success.
